Albion Reunion and Picnic Day 2010, what a day to remember. A remarkably wonderful and spectacular day for all...a day filled with family, friends and neighbors embracing each other; some exchanging tears, others with words like "I haven't seen you in such a long time" etc.
In lieu of the crowd's late emergence and some late changes, everything that occurred on August 7th, 2010 was simply wonderful and the people were delighted. John Heywood once said that "Two heads are better than one" and also said "Many hands make light work of a situation". Both of these quotes were displayed by all the members that were present and nothing but praises are still being echoed by Albionites for our valiant effort - Bravo to the committee members who made it happen.
We all had our individual chores to do and we executed them excellently. Special thanks to the Jagroop family for providing the music and Cyril Choy for the power plant.
In short, I must remind you all that we took the initiative to provide the people of Albion with this yearly event and we should all thank ourselves for doing a great job again. Soon, we will begin planning 2011's event and as usual, everyone is expected to share the burden so that this one will either match or surpass 2010. Enjoy the off season everyone.
Sincerely,
P. Sahadeo (Bill)
